Condos: A New Lifestyle

Since the last decade it has become more common to see residential and condos as new alternatives and a new way of life different from what we normally had been going for many years. In the last century and virtually lifetime in Costa Rica used to be that each family had its own lot or farm where they built their home and to several homes as the family grew. However, with the great increase in population, the saturation of the main population and the need for a new home have led to the generation of this new lifestyle as are condominiums.
Initially condominium homes where they tried to keep the habit of having your home with your backyard became popular, some separation between houses and common air typical in this type of project, known as horizontal condominiums, this gave very good results as people accepted quite well and in fact there are still many projects of this type. A more modern and popular alternative nowadays are condominiums tower or vertical. Currently these "towers" can be seen in different parts of metro area and even some beaches in the country. It is estimated that by next year at least a further 11 towers are built in the area near the San José Sabana, Escazu and Santa Ana

This new housing concept offers a lot of advantages to customers, among which may be mentioned: security 24 hours 7 days a week to be guarded by security officers of private companies dedicated to that function. Have exclusive airlines common for the owners, some are mixed towers that offer both residential and commercial spaces, where the first floors can be used as commercial premises or offices.

The vast majority of these projects are mainly targeted for the middle and upper classes, however, are trying to promote the construction of such projects for lower classes, to give a new housing option more people a better way organized by municipal and urban planning regulations or regulatory plan of each sector.
